We will be served by the Pathfinders and Children of the Church. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be held July 7th-11th. Our theme this year will be Castles and Crowns. We are still in need of volunteers to help in the capacity of crew leaders. We are also in need of the following items: dark colored blankets (for the kids to sit on), a chest, fur blankets/throws, large gold pots/candlesticks and a harp. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL PLANNING MEETING We will be having a brief planning meeting on Sunday, May 4th at 10:00 am for all VBS volunteers. It will be held at the school. We'd like as many volunteers as possible to attend. Thank you! EVANGELISM VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION SESSION. This announcement is for approximately 70 Metro members who have or will volunteer by saying "yes" to serving in various capacities during our 2008 summer evangelism series and Andrews University field school to be held during 5 weeks (22 nights) from Friday, July 11 through Friday, August 15 on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Wednesday evenings. This training orientation will be held in our Chapel and 'only' on two Sunday mornings, both at 10am, May 18 or June 1. (Please be prompt so none of us have to wait) The Vails are extremely busy and these are the only two times they can do this. So, please without fail, mark your calendar and attend one of these sessions. Keep one of these Sundays open and inviolate for sure! "You" are key, as is this training, for success and a smooth well-planned and organized program.
